About Us

Project Makerspace is a collaborative effort that was created by and for the Indigenous communities it will serve. Led by the Ulnooweg Education Centre, the Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI), and the McKenna Institute at the University of New Brunswick, our shared mission is to bridge the gap between Indigenous youth, technology, and STEAM careers, while connecting them to their culture, land, and communities.
